Each situation is unique as far as how the cost is worked out. For instance, Student Films are considered at a reduced rate if their content is of high quality.

Basically, music is composed at a minimum fee of $500.00 per minute of music. This applies to productions where there is no need for score, parts or musicians other than me. The compositions are distributed on CD, DVD or tape. This is music performed by samplers and synths. Very realistic accoustic instrument sounds can be acheived but live musicians always sound better.

For full orchestra, band and vocals there is the additional cost of musicians and creating a score and parts. These productions will be negotiated according to the requirements. This goes for any project that requires the services of musicians, engineers and tech people other than myself.
